At MAT Recruitment, we’re committed to helping our supply staff grow, succeed, and make a lasting impact in every classroom. That’s why we offer a range of free CPD and training opportunities for all registered candidates.
Consistency and confidence are key to providing and supporting successful teaching. Through our targeted CPD, supply staff learn how to create positive learning climates, manage behaviour effectively, and deliver lessons that meet national expectations for quality teaching.
Each module is built around the Teachers’ Standards set out by the Department for Education, supporting educators to maintain professional excellence — no matter how short or long their placement. Our training also aligns with the Ofsted Education Inspection Framework, helping schools meet inspection requirements by ensuring all teaching staff contribute consistently to pupil progress and wellbeing.
All staff must complete Safeguarding before working in any education setting — aligned with KCSIE.
All modules are developed in line with DfE and Ofsted expectations for continuing professional development.
Training is delivered online as downloadable materials and pre-recorded webinars — complete at your own pace.
All training modules are provided free of charge to every candidate registered with MAT Recruitment.
All modules cover key areas that make a real difference in schools — for supply staff and candidates of every experience level.
